Vulpes

Genus Vulpes is one of the two genera that make up the "true foxes" (the other being Urocyon). Foxes are distinguished from other members of the dog family by their smaller size and flatter skulls. Their tail-tip is usually a different color than the rest of their coat. Many foxes will cache food that they obtain for consumption at a later time.
